This walk-behind leaf blower will remove leaves and debris from any location in no time. The leaf blower provides high-end cleaning with its greater blowing power.
However, do all walk-behind leaf blowers offer better cleaning performance?
Let’s take you through the best walk behind a leaf blower for your garden.
What’s a walk-behind leaf blower?
A leaf blower is a tool with a powerful motor that blows air from a tube. The motor of a walk-behind leaf blower is mounted on wheels so it can be moved around the garden.
You can use the blower to move leaves, sticks, or twigs to a collection spot.
1. SuperHandy
We love the SuperHandy Blower and its high-end features. It is compact in shape and has a sturdy body. The blower weighs in at 129.7 pounds and measures 26.6×22.5×22.3 inches. The swivel wheel makes it light and easy to handle.
This heavy machine is easy to transport because the three front swivel wheels can easily rotate 360 degrees. Because of their large size, you can easily push leaf blowers through rough terrain.
Some people also complain about the corrosion and rusting of walk-behind leaf blowers. Fortunately, the SuperHandy unit will not cause you to have such concerns. This blower is protected from corrosion and rust by being coated with powder-coated, heat-treated steel material. Its superior construction makes it a durable choice.
It also features a powerful 212cc 4-stroke gasoline engine. This machine can blow both wet and dried leaves with ease thanks to its powerful gas engine, which produces 7HP.
This gas engine can not only clean leaves but also dust. It has a CFM of around 2000. The high CFM allows for more airflow and a cleaner result.
The SuperHandy Blower’s speed is another great feature. The SuperHandy Blower can travel at a speed of 200 mph, making it easy to clean leaves and dust. It has a speed of 3600 RPM. This RPM is the speed at which the metal impeller spins in one minute. This product can be used to clean snow because of its high RPM (and CFM) It measures approximately 13.5 inches in length and is made of a durable metal material.
It also has an adjustable angle flap that can be used to control airflow. This feature allows you to change the direction of airflow by as much as 90 degrees. You can enjoy greater accuracy and ease with this angle flap option. The impeller is strong enough to withstand high loads without causing damage.
This machine has been certified by the EPA and is CARB compliant. This machine offers a higher wind force than traditional plastic fans. It is a top-of-the-line machine because it has a higher wind force.
The main problem with the SuperHandy Blower’s noise is This blower, like other gas-powered units produces a loud sound while it is operating. It needs to be maintained regularly for longer life and better performance.
You might have difficulty using the leaf blower if you’re new to it. The SuperHandy brand provides a user manual. The user manual will provide information about the blower as well as how to use it.
SuperHandy walk-behind leaf blowers do not include engine oil. You will need to purchase it separately. To ensure your safety, you should use standard hand- and eye protection when operating this blower. This unit is more powerful than other walk-behind leaf blowers.
2. Merry Mac
The Merry Mac Blower produces a low-noise blower and delivers high quality. The blower is moderately heavy at 115 pounds, which makes it heavier than some other walk-behind leaf blowers.
This machine is powered by a 305cc gas engine. Further, the machine is powered by a Briggs & Stratton engine. This engine uses a recoil starter system to start the operation. The 4-cycles make it a more reliable option. High-quality engines produce more impressive MPH and CFM. The machine can move 2000 cubic feet per hour, and the MPH is 200. Merry Mac Blower can be used to tackle both wet and dry leaves.
The kickable switch is another well-known feature of this blower. This switch allows you to adjust the machine’s output. You can set the output level too high or low with this switch.
This blower is also easy to start and stop. You can use this blower to clean large areas, fields, and properties. For greater safety, this commercial-grade models are also features strong motor housing. Cast iron is used in motor housing to increase its durability. It protects the motor against any further damage.
The deflector, which you can use to regulate the airflow in the LB1450ICEZM LB0_ model, is another quality feature. For quick and effective cleaning, you will have a front or side discharge option.
This powerful blower produces noise levels of around 71 decibels. The noise level produced by this blower is much lower than other walk-behind leaf blowers. Even though the noise level is quite low, it’s still recommended to wear hearing protection if you stand too close to the machine. The leaf blower is easy to use.
The impeller of this Merry Mac model is also very fast. This impeller rotates at a faster speed, which results in increased air flow. This Merry Mac unit can remove all leaves, dust and other debris due to its high airflow speed.
3. Southland SWB163150E
Southland’s walk-behind leaf blowers are a great way to get rid of all those fallen leaves. It is heavy at 88 pounds and can be difficult to move around. This blower is not recommended for use in large gardens with many terraces and flower beds. It is ideal for larger gardens with many trees, paths, and open space.
The walk-behind blower comes preassembled and is equipped with an OHV 163cc engine that produces 6.5-foot-pounds torque. Four-blade fan with a diameter of 14 inches is balanced to reduce vibration and improve bearing life. The fan has welded steel blades which help to lower noise levels. The noise level is still quite high at 78dBA. Consider the fact that this walk-behind blower is within proximity to you. I recommend wearing ear protection whenever you use this walk-behind blower.
The Southland SWB163150E walking behind the leaf blower’s calculated blowing force is 40.2 Newton. The Husqvarna 360BT backpack blowers are 30% less powerful. It is not as powerful as a backpack walk behind leaf blowers, but it is still impressively better. The Troy-Bilt TB672 jet sweep walk behind the leaf blower produces 1,000 CFM at 150 MPH. The Husqvarna 360BT backpack leaf blower is only 10% less effective than its calculated leaf-blowing force of 33.5. An attachment allows you to control the direction of the powerful airflow. It can direct it straight out, upward, or downward. This attachment allows for additional control over how the air flows. It allows you to direct the airflow to the bottom of your pile or to where it is most beneficial.
Two 12-inch rear wheels and one front swivel wheel make the walk-behind blower easy to maneuver. The front wheel, unlike the Troy-Bilt’s, can be swiveled to make it easy to change direction without tilting the machine back. The interface panel is not user-friendly. To find the controls, you will need to refer to the manual. The ON/OFF switch needs to be set to “ON” for the engine’s ignition. After that, you can use a manual recoil starter. To start the engine, you must pull the rope. To prime the carburetor, you must push the primer bulb a few times when starting a cold engine. The engine will be stopped by turning the switch to “OFF”.
They use a precisely matched steel fan housing and tapered crankshaft to ensure a perfect fit between the fan center and the engine. The unit’s life expectancy is extended by the taper-fit, which binds the two components.
An attachment for front flow redirects the airflow. The machine’s predominant airflow flows to one side, so the attachment redirects the flow to the front. Attach the attachment to the blower outlet. The front flow attachment can be stored under the frame at the rear of the unit when not in use.
The emission regulations for the SWB163150E engine are met by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (“U.S. EPA”). The SWB163150 engine (no E), is compliant with the EPA and California (CARB certified).
We recommend the Southland walk-behind blower if you have large properties with lots of leaves and/or a lot of debris.

4. Troy-Bilt TB672
The Southland walk-behind leaf blowers are similar to the Troy-Bilt TB672 walk-behind leaf blowers. It is 10 pounds lighter and has a front wheel that does not swivel. Although the engine is larger, the weight loss may be due to the absence of a swivel. However, there are additional savings with this engine. You can steer the wheeled leaf blowers by pressing down on the handles. The handle will lift the front end of the blower and then maneuver it on the back tires. A fixed front wheel allows you to steer the blower more easily against an inclined terrain. It doesn’t tend to veer to one side as the one with a rotating wheel.
The 208cc wheeled leaf blowers are much more powerful than the 163 or 190 ccs. Although the blower is approximately the same size as that of the Southland, the air volume is 1000 CFM at the same 150 MPH. It blows roughly 17% less than the Southland walk-behind leaf blower.
The manual warns against operating the blower without the discharge chute. The manual specifies only one type of chute that will direct air volume towards the front of the machine. I was unable to determine whether more than one chute is available. It has the same directional chute feature as the Southland. This allows it to be used sideways. This allows the air volume force to be directed at the top or bottom pile of leaves.
To improve grip and reduce vibrations, a rubberized grip is attached to the handle. The diameter of the front and rear wheels is 8 inches, while those mounted on a stationary basis are 12 inches. All wheels come with sealed ball bearings.
This gas-powered, walk-behind leaf blower can quickly remove leaves and other debris from your yard, driveway, or patio. The TB672 is easy to maneuver on its semi-pneumatic tires and it’s not difficult to steer on the rear wheels.
A fuel gauge is not available on the fuel tank. This is something I also missed on my Southland. You can check the fuel level by stopping the engine, opening the tank, and looking inside. While the 3-quart fuel tank is comparable to the other walk-behind leaf blowers, it is not able to provide information about fuel consumption. You will need to refer to the manual for the controls to start and stop the engine.
Troy-Bilt provides a 2-year limited warranty for this product.

5. Little Wonder 99170-03-01 C5
Because of its high-quality build, the Little Wonder Walk Behind Blowers has a great reputation. The machine is powered by a Subaru SP170 motor. Although the power of this Subaru SP170 engine is lower, it still provides enough power to clean your lawn regularly. It provides 170cc of power to run the walk-behind blowers. The engine can produce more airflow in a shorter time.
It also has an ignition switch that turns the machine on or off. You can easily turn the machine on or off by using the switch.
A 16-inch composite impeller can quickly blow leaves. This composite impeller can move fluids as well as leaves. Maximum leaf removal is possible thanks to the engine’s 200 MPH and 1150 CFM.
In this commercial walk behind a leaf blower, we will also be talking about the rite discharge nozzle. The discharge nozzle can adjust the direction of the air to meet your needs. The angle of the nozzle can also be adjusted. You can also target specific areas for cleaning.
Little Wonder 99170-03-01 HTML5 Leaf Blower also has a thickly padded operator hand. The handle can be folded, making it easy to store the leaf blower. The handle can be folded down to save space.
This unit also has operator controls for easy operation. Operator control is available to control the leaf blower. These walk-behind blowers, like many others, have reliable wheels that allow for simple movement.
Three tires are enough to move the machine swiftly on both rough and smooth surfaces. Superior stability is achieved by the large 16-inch wheels. These wheels offer stability, even when the device is used on uneven terrains. This improves mobility and allows users to transport the machine easily.
The Little Wonder walk-behind blowers have an adjustable height. This device can be adjusted to your liking for ease of use. It is versatile because it has an adjustable height feature.
Little Wonder has added a thicker padded handle to address vibration concerns. This extra thick, padded handle reduces the machine’s vibrations while it is being used. The anti-vibration grip makes it so you don’t feel any discomfort when using the leaf blower. The controls are located near the handle so that you don’t have to bend to adjust the settings.

A gas-powered leaf blower for walk-behind is available. The engine can be either 2-stroke or a 4-stroke.
While a 2-stroke engine offers better performance, it is more difficult to maintain and requires more complex use.
For the 2-stroke engine, you will need to mix oil and gas.
This problem is not present in the 4-stroke engine and it requires less maintenance. It produces less noise and emits fewer emissions than a 2-stroke engine.
Fuel efficiency
The walk-behind leaf blower has a large gas tank, so it can run for quite some time before needing to be refilled.
The size of the gas tank that you will need to clean your garden is a good indicator of which blower you should choose.

How to use the walk-behind leaf blower
Before using the leaf blower, make sure that there is no furniture in the area. Take out any large branches or debris.
Use the walk-behind leaf blower in a semicircle to move the leaves and debris to a specific spot. The leaves can be collected in a container for disposal.
To move leaves to your collection point, use the leaf blower in brief bursts. This will ensure you get a good performance and save fuel.
The leaves can start to blow in the air if the pile gets too large. To lift the leaves, you can use a rake or your hands.
Do not try to blow the leaves against walls as they will bounce back at you. Blower the leaves along the wall until you find the place where you want them to be collected.
Last words
All of the walk-behind leaf blowers reviewed in this article are highly performing. The SuperHandy Leaf Blower is my favorite walk-behind leaf blower. This leaf blower is manual-driven and requires little effort.
This leaf blower produces top-quality output due to its high airspeed and higher airflow capacity. The leaf blower also features a powerful 212cc 4 Stroke 4-Stroke OHV motor that can blow more leaves in a shorter time.
